Coltman's emphasis on both safety and quality extends to our comprehensive on-site installation service, which includes the provision of a trained site team, cranage, and suitable passive fall arrest system in the form of air-bags or safety netting.

Every site is visited by a member of the Contracts Department, who will be an Appointed Person (BS 7121 Safe Use of Cranes). A comprehensive risk assessment, method statement and lift plan is carried out before work on site commences.

Competent and trained site teams carry out the installation in accordance with the Code of Practice for Safe Erection of Precast Concrete. All crane and lifting operations are supervised by a Lift Supervisor (BS 7121 Safe Use of Cranes) and are carried out by CITB CTA Operators and Slinger / Signallers.
