Each site will be visited by a Contracts Supervisor (CPCS Appointed Person BS7121) who will make an assessment of the site conditions and prepare a written Method Statement and Risk Assessment including a Crane Schedule and Lift Plan.
Coltman has its own modern fleet of Articulated vehicles for deliveries anywhere in the country. Rigid vehicles can be provided if access to a site is in any way restricted.
All members of our site installation teams have the appropriate CSCS and CPCS cards.

Coltman are committed to ensuring that their site operatives are fully trained in all aspects of site installation. We are now training all site fixers in accordance with the new National Precast Flooring Training Scheme which was recently introduced by the Precast Flooring Federation as the industry standard for training of precast concrete installers.
We can provide and install the following safety equipment to supplement our installation service; all carried out by trained operatives with the appropriate CSCS cards:
Crane Outrigger Mats - Alimats™ (Aluminium Outrigger Mats 3m2) can be supplied if required and installed by Coltman to spread/reduce the load from the crane outrigger. Can reduce outrigger load of a typical 50 tonne mobile crane from approximately 85 tonnes/m2 (using standard mats supplied with crane) to 17 tonnes/m2.
